The Springfield-Greene County Park Board is seeking a qualified and experienced Golf Pro Shop Assistant Manager for our Rivercut Golf Course, one of SW Missouri's premier golf courses.
Designed by Ken Dye, Rivercut Golf Course was ranked as the No. 1 Municipal Golf Course by Golf Digest (2009) and was ranked in the top 10 of Missouri public courses by Golfweek (2022).
This position will plan and organize golf tournaments and events, supervise assigned Pro Shop staff, and provide professional golf services to patrons.This position will earn commission, as additional compensation, at the rate of of 1.5% of net income from the Golf Pro Shops.
Experience, Education, and Training
- Requires graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, or a related field.
- Experience can be substituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
- Experience with golf activities and programs.
Licensing/Certification
- Professional Golf Association (PGA) certification strongly preferred.
