About the Club:
Blue Hill Country Club, a private golf club owned and operated by Concert Golf Partners, is steeped in history, and offers an outstanding golf experience. Established in 1925 with 27 holes designed by Eugene Wogan, it includes the 18-hole Championship Course, a par 72 redesigned by Ron Pritchard in 2003, spanning 6,700 yards. This course hosted a PGA Championship in the 1950s and was a regular venue for the LPGA tour in the 1990s. The Challenger Course is a 9-hole, par 34 layout of 2,600 yards. Purpose:
Blue Hill Country Club is seeking a mechanic to assist the superintendent in creating a high level of experience and quality for its members. The individual should be detail oriented, an out of the box thinker and a team player. The mechanic is responsible for all equipment maintenance and repairs to the Golf Course equipment and company vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate equipment repairs and maintenance.
- Inspect and repair mechanical defects in maintenance and construction equipment.
- Overhaul automotive and other powered equipment.
- Administrative duties include purchasing and inventory control.
- Manage oil and gasoline inventories.
- Assist in capital equipment purchases.
- Conduct safety programs and continuing education.
- Maintain shop orderliness.
- Manage cart maintenance program.
- Perform snow removal (if applicable).
- Manage assistant mechanics or hourly employees.
- Maintain records for all equipment
Education/Experience:
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Minimum two years' experience in Golf Course operation.
- Knowledge of gasoline, diesel, and electric equipment maintenance.
- Valid driver's license.
Salary:
- $38.46 - $43.27 per hour (Annual: $80,000 - $90,000)
