Golf Course Maintenance Staff

Historic Rutland Country Club in Rutland, Vermont is looking for people to join our Golf Course Maintenance Staff for the 2024 season. Rutland Country Club is one of the top Golf Courses in the state of Vermont, and was ranked #49 nationally on Golf.com's list of top courses you can play for under $150 in 2021. A 1927 Stiles and Van Kleek design, RCC is a gem of the classical era of Golf Course architecture.

This is a seasonal position beginning in early April (weather dependent) and running through the end of October. A typical work week is 40 hours (Monday-Friday, 6 a.m.-2 p.m.) with some weekend work required for tournament prep (6-9, though possible earlier start for some tournaments). We would like to fill our staff out with members who can work these full time schedules, though there is the chance for part-time work, as well. Our work environment is team oriented, with an emphasis on a fun and upbeat atmosphere. We work in various weather conditions within reason as it pertains to staff safety and the ability to get the job done properly.

Daily tasks include (but are not limited to):

• Equipment operation to maintain all areas of the Golf Course
• Operation of utility carts
• Performance of in house projects
• Use of various hand tools pertaining to Golf Course Maintenance
• Use of small power tools such as weed whackers and blowers
• Previous Golf Course or property/landscape maintenance is helpful, but not required, and training will be provided either way.

Golf privileges are offered to our staff members, as well as half price food during work hours.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
