General Summary: Responsible for taking food & beverage orders at the Club's on-course and Poolside Food & Beverage Outlets, preparing beverages and serving them to guests.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists guests with food & beverage selections; makes recommendations.
- Informs guests of current specials.
- Promotes food & beverage products and services.
- Serves food & beverage items to guests.
- Responsible for ensuring that alcoholic beverages are not dispensed to people under the age of 21.
- Takes payment for food & beverages utilizing prescribed cash procedures.
- Recognizes and resolves guest complaints and concerns.
- Maintains food & beverage quality and service standards for location.
- Performs opening and closing procedures; contributes to overall cleanliness and organization of facility.
- Ensures a pleasant visit for each guest; maintains effective guest relations.
- Performs special projects delegated by management.
- Stays updated on latest developments pertinent to the department as well as the location.
- Communicate with members with enthusiasm and make them feel appreciated through displayed actions
- Keep the bar area cleaned; and stick to company’s standards at all times
- Responsible for mixing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for patrons of bar and dining room following standard recipes and procedures
- Arrange glasses and bottles to maintain an attractive display in agreement with bar standards
- Sterilize and wash stemware when necessary
- Reach out to members and offer assistance to them before they request for it
- Endeavor to know members names, occupations, and favorite drinks
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- Experience preferred
- MUST be available weekends and mornings
Working Conditions:
Work is performed outdoors and not in a controlled atmosphere. Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend stretch and twist or reach. Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds. A faster-than-average pace will be the norm for this position. Will often be required to work nights, weekends and holidays.
