Apply Now JOB SUMMARY Works with the pro shop staff to ensure the enjoyment of the golfing public at the Blue Heron Golf Course. Manages the Golf Cart fleet and maintains a neat work environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provides cordial, responsive and accurate customer service. Prepares Golf Carts for daily play by ensuring they are clean and equipped with golf essentials. Maintains a clean work area and keeps outside grounds around parking lot free of litter.
Cleans Golf Carts at the end of each round played. Empties garbage cans on the golf course and assists pro shop attendant with trash removal. Inspects Golf Carts upon return and reports any damage to the pro shop attendant.
Ensures carts are properly parked and cart barn is locked at the end of day. Performs other duties specific to the golf operations as directed by the pro shop staff or manager. Maintains a clean and neat appearance.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Golf Course - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Possession of a Class C Maryland Motor Vehicle Operator's License or learner's permit (or the equivalent from another issuing state) or the ability to obtain such a license within thirty (30) days of employment to position preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to lift a reasonable amount of weight equal to a five gallon bucket.
Most of the duties are performed outside. Needs to be able to drive a Golf Cart. Reasonable accommodations may be made for some of these physical demands for otherwise qualified individuals who require and request such accommodation.
