Position: GM Certified Transmission Technician
Reports To: Service Director
Employment: Full time, hourly flat rate
Shift Length: 8 hours
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough inspections of customers' vehicles and provide repair recommendations to service advisors.
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engines, steering, brakes, suspension, transmission, and air conditioning with minimal supervision.
- Handle heavy engine vehicle repairs during the initial appointment.
- Safely care for vehicles until returned to the Service Advisor or customer.
- Read and comprehend written instructions and information.
- Maintain a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with service advisors.
- Own basic tools for the job.
- Hold a valid driver's license.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a transmission repair mechanic/heavy engine technician.
