Job Summary

The Global Sr. Systems Engineer - Security will focus on proactively supporting the SHI security portfolio, particularly by implementing integrated partner technologies, supporting SHI partner strategies as well as clients needs. This role supports internal SHI sellers, while working closely within the Cyber practice team in support of client opportunities. The Global Sr. Systems Engineer - Securityis hands on technology and is expected to diagram, document, and build architectures and designs consultatively.

The Global Sr. Systems Engineer - Security is a driven individual with hands on technical experience wishing to further develop their exposure to both security technologies as well as customer support skills directly.

This position is a remote position with Home Office setup as determined by SHI management.

Responsibilities

Include, but not limited to:

+ Provide technical support for security solutions; client facing and in lab environments.

+ Key contact for sales team specific requests for Security technology requests

+ Support discovery calls to gather customer specific requirements with SHI AE's and technical teams supporting POC, evaluation and design opportunities.

+ Assist with product and solution positioning opportunity qualification.

+ Assist SHI sales reps with customer facing conference calls & presentations particular to targeted content.

+ Develop and document technical reference architectures developed within the lab environment and targeted and integrated opportunities.

+ Develop and deliver training webcasts and presentations.

+ Stay current with new technologies and innovations and recommend creative adoption of new technologies.

+ Team with Senior Security Architects, Fild CISO and other security team members to support identified opportunities.

+ Maintain and enhance RA lab equipment for Training and Marketing, architecture design.

+ Acquire and maintain relevant industry certification as directed and required.

+ Perform post-sales support as needed appropriate.

Qualifications

+ B.S or B.A. or equivalent experience.

+ 8+ years of experience working in an engineering or operations role aligned with security technologies.

+ 2 years of experience with networking and security concepts

+ Basic certifications such as: Microsoft MTA; CompTIA Security+; GIAC: GISF; (ISC)2: SSCP/CCSP; Cisco CCNA/CCNP

+ Cloud Security Certifications a plus: AWS, Google, Azure

+ Security manufacturer / cloud certifications a plus; Palo Alto; Forcepoint; Fortinet; Microsoft; Cisco; Checkpoint; Other as appropriate

Required Skills

+ An insatiable appetite to learn, be challenged, be flexible and achieve assigned objectives.

+ Experience implementing, configuring and general support of security solutions.

+ Network and administration background a plus

+ Excellent organization, communication, verbal & written skills

+ Ability to effectively prioritize multiple demands while ensuring customer needs are met.

+ Ability to travel as needed.

+ Self-study and independent work in lab facilities to increase job related knowledge and skills.

+ B.S or B.A. or equivalent experience

+ Achieve and maintain vendor accreditations and certifications relevant to security team goals and objectives and career targets.

Additional Information

+ The estimated annual pay range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
