HIRING IMMEDIATELY!
Sunstates Security is currently hiring full-time Global Security Operations Center Analyst for an account in Austin, TX. All days and shifts are available and offer a starting pay rate of $25/hr - with weekly pay. The GSOC Operator is responsible for the monitoring of security and safety systems of multiple contract sites. including CCTV and access control systems to provide security & safety in accordance with Sunstates objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effectively manages a variety of computer systems, intelligence applications, dispatching equipment, and security and safety systems.
- Maintains familiarity with facilities, operations, and high-risk areas to effectively support loss prevention and physical security programs.
- Receives event information and initiates response processes for issues including; crimes in progress, fires, medical emergencies, facilities issues, natural disasters, and industrial accidents.
- Maintains familiarity with the site emergency response procedures and participates in emergency response team deployment, exercises, and events as needed.
- Responsible for detailed records and evidence required in a clear, legible, and accurate format.
- Ensures all security systems are in proper working order by performing and documenting daily equipment checks.
- Notifies all appropriate personnel about equipment quality issues and failures to minimize downtime.
- Interprets maps/layouts, conducts internal audits, and interprets data received from multiple sources to present risk analysis trends.
- Knows site and general emergency and medical response procedures.
- Provides training and familiarization for new GSOC Operators to help ensure continuity of operations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Advanced level/knowledge of computers and technology
- Prior experience working in an Analyst environment, including knowledge of data applications, OSINT sourcing, EverBridge applications, etc.
- Prior experience auditing data from multiple sources and providing weekly high-level risk reports to manager and/or client
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
- Superior written and verbal communications skills
- Polite and professional demeanor and the ability to relate well to people from varied backgrounds and different situations
- A High standard of ethical conduct and understands the impact of violating these standards on an organization, self, and others; chooses an ethical course of action and is trustworthy
Education Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
Certification Requirements
Valid Texas Non-Commissioned (II) Security License
A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP, and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives. Sun123
