Global Omnichannel GTM Business Planner

Description:
The Global OmnichannelBusiness Planner plays a pivotal role in shaping, overseeing, and assessing business plans to ensure alignment with strategic objectives within the Omnichannel Team. This leadership position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, including the Global Omnichannel Go-to-Market Team, Extended staff, and stakeholders across Global Channel, Category, and Market channel sales teams.
Responsibilities:

  • Manage business planning and strategy for the Global Omnichannel Go-to-Market Team, overseeing Partner Digital, Partner Search, Marketplaces, and Omnichannel Policy teams across PS/Print/LF categories.
  • Collaborate directly with the Global Head of Omnichannel to define, manage, and evaluate business plans for operational feasibility against strategic objectives.
  • Drive the definition, tracking, and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on an annual/quarterly/monthly basis, offering insights and recommendations to business leaders for achieving performance targets.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of business activities with established plans among various stakeholders.
  • Lead Long Term Planning (LTP) investment definition and quarterly tracking/reporting of results for approved Omnichannel investments.
  • Develop presentations for internal and external senior management audiences.
  • Oversee, manage, and optimize OPEX, serving as the primary finance contact for the Omnichannel Team.
  • Organize key decision checkpoints, stakeholder engagements, and initiatives for the Omnichannel Business Head and staff.

Typical Work Involves:
  • Deriving actionable business plans from complex data and business analysis.
  • Constructing innovative statistical and financial models to analyze new aspects of business performance.
  • Establishing metrics to measure business performance and recommending strategies to address performance gaps.
  • Aggregating KPIs across Omnichannel GTM teams in Dashboard.
  • Leading time-sensitive projects, identifying trends, and uncovering opportunities.
  • Staffing and managing cross-functional teams across the entire spectrum of business planning activities.
  • Driving priority projects, making final team decisions, and proactively identifying new opportunities.
  • Preparing presentations on Omnichannel trends/ business performance/strategic opportunities and challenges to HP's senior leadership.

Education and Experience Required:
  • 6-10 years of experience in strategy, planning, operations, finance, digital marketing / eCommerce or related functional areas.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering + Advanced university degree (e.g., MBA) or equivalent experience.
  • Desired experience in Finance, Category Management, Digital marketing/eCommerce.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Superior business acumen and technical knowledge within the online/eCommerce/marketplaces and retail/commercial Omnichannel Go-to-Market Business domains.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, analytical thinking, technical analysis, data manipulation skills.
  • Ability to leverage new analytical thinking techniques to develop creative approaches to business analysis.
  • Strong finance, category management, and leadership skills, with the ability to lead large, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Robust relationship management skills, including effective partnering and consulting.
  • Ability to lead multiple, large, time-sensitive projects or workstreams.
  • Expertise in analyzing business problems using Excel, statistical analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Proficiency in developing compelling presentations using PowerPoint or similar tools.
  • This role demands a strategic mindset, analytical prowess, and the ability to navigate complex business landscapes while ensuring operational excellence in line with overarching business goals.
  • Developed leadership skills, including team-building, conflict resolution, and management.
  • Ability to identify emerging trends in eCommerce/digital marketing fields from market/industry vs. internal data, and determine implications to HP digital sales strategies.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical salary range for this role across the U.S. is $102,500.00 -- $148,650.00 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
