Job DescriptionAbout the role:
As a member of Takeda Oncology, your work will contribute to our bold, inspiring vision: We aspire to cure cancer. As part of the Global Oncology Products & Pipeline Strategy team, you will report to the Executive Director, Head Global CRC Disease Lead and work with a cross-functional and cross-country team to drive a potential asset in our CRC Cancer portfolio.
How you will contribute:
Support development of annual strategic brand plan and tactical plan; collaborate with Countries / Local Operating Companies (LOCs) to gain input and alignment on key brand strategies, tactics and performance
Monitor, manage and execute CRC brand strategy, including positioning and messaging
Lead conception and development of key promotional tactics and materials in partnership with the agency of record and key cross-functional partners
Develop and execute above-market digital tactics
Organize and execute brand meetings with LOCs
Provide materials and support for launches in new markets and execution of LCM strategy
Drive the application of key insights to validate business opportunities and inform specific brand strategies and tactics to validate business opportunities, and inform brand strategies and tactics in collaboration with competitive intelligence and insights and analytics
Translate data and insights into brand messaging and storytelling
Drive the application of forecast assumptions and business case to ensure business plans are on track
Oversee strategies and tactics surrounding ad boards and KOL relationships
Develop plan for brand presence at key congresses, including promotional content and engagement plans
Manage global brand budget
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
At least 7 years of work experience with 3+ years of pharmaceutical marketing experience required
Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, with experience in either Oncology or Rare Diseases and especially omnichannel marketing
Brand launch experience, including one in-country market
The ability to drive alignment across functions and regions/countries, and lead matrix teams
Experience in marketing strategy and tactic design with experience communicating ideas to internal partners, external agencies and the executive level
Established leadership traits with an ability to collaborate positively impact decisions
