Supervisor, Global Complaint Vigilance

This position reports into the Manager, Global Complaint Vigilance and is based at the Skillman NJ location.

What will you do 

The Supervisor, Global Complaint Vigilance is responsible for:

Key Responsibilities

    Leading a team responsible for Complaint Handling processes, including triage, investigation, trending, and case closure, as well as the identification and management notification of emerging product issues post-distribution. 

    Assisting with oversight of the Skillman NJ field sample return goods process and resourcing to ensure completion of required activities within compliant timelines. 

    Assisting with management of Complaint Handling related activities which support external and internal global business partner processes and generate business and customer insights:

o   Preparing and presenting a variety of reports and data analysis (routine and ad hoc).

o   Leading and participating in global and cross functional project teams, as well as INV and CAPA activities. 

o   Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements; generating metrics to demonstrate effective Complaint Vigilance process performance. 

o   Representing Complaint Vigilance during internal and external auditor and health authority interactions.  

    People management (recruiting, mentoring, team trainings, and direct routine interactions with direct and extended team members).

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

       Bachelor's Degree in science, engineering, statistics, nursing, or related discipline, or equivalent job specific experience.

       Minimum of 6 years of work experience in an FDA regulated industry, preferably in a quality or compliance role.

       1-2 years professional or public/community service people leadership experience (this may include roles in project leadership, team leadership, supervision, charitable or nonprofit organizations, etc) preferred.  Experience influencing, negotiating, and leading without direct line authority preferred.

       Demonstrated critical thinking, people and team development, strategic aptitude, and independent leadership skills.

       Ability to analyze and effectively present quality and compliance issues to business partners and senior management.

       This position may require up to 20% travel domestically and internationally.

 

Desired Qualifications

       Complaint Vigilance experience preferred.

       Previous interaction with FDA or other Health Authorities during audits or in response to requests for information preferred.

       Experience with complaint handling software (such as PQMS) applications preferred.

       Experience with systems and tools supporting analysis and reporting including Tableau and/or Tableau dashboard development preferred.

       Experience working with Artificial Intelligence/Automation in Complaint processes preferred.

For U.S. applicants, in accordance with applicable disclosure requirements, the anticipated base pay range for this position is $84,000 to $118,000. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis
