AddressGlobal Accounting Team - Staff Accountant
Join an esteemed investment management firm in their Global Accounting team as a Staff Accountant. Responsibilities:
Complete journal entries, reconcile accounts, and generate internal reports for legal entities, with a focus on compensation-related matters
Coordinate with the Global Payroll team to ensure precise accounting across multiple locations worldwide
Evaluate compensation expense accounts and monthly financial results, presenting findings to management
Prepare regulatory filings and surveys, adhering to strict deadlines
Assist in external audits by compiling audit work papers and addressing auditor queries
Maintain procedure documentation and identify opportunities for operational enhancements and process streamlining
Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required
Preferably 1-3 years' experience in accounting; experience in compensation accounting is advantageous
Possesses strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
Proficient in Excel and systems; familiarity with Workday is preferred
Thrives in a fast-paced environment with stringent deadlines
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams
Demonstrates maturity in handling confidential information
