Responsibilities:
To learn the trade and possibly start your own truck. You will be able assist the lead installer in the following:
- Install glass in shower enclosures. vanity mirrors, glass wine rooms, moveable glass walls
- Measure and cut glass to fit specified dimensions
- Install aluminum or vinyl framing systems for Glass Installation
- Replace damaged or broken glass panes
- Seal joints and edges of glass with weatherproofing materials
- Install and secure glass in frames using clips, moldings, or other types of fasteners
- Follow blueprints or specifications to ensure accurate installation
- Work with other construction professionals, such as carpenters and painters, to complete projects
-Keep work truck clean, organized and stock with product, report oil changes, turn in weekly truck check list.
Skills:
- Looking for basic tools knowledge to start: can read a tape measurer, can add and deduct fractions, used a drill, we can work on more.
Plus Qualifications:
- Familiarity with hand tools such as saws, drills, and measuring devices
- Knowledge of carpentry principles and techniques for framing and trim work
- Strong attention to detail and ability to assemble components accurately
- Comfortable using power tools for cutting, shaping, and fastening materials
- Skilled in trim carpentry for finishing touches on installations
Communication:
-Send customers text messages for appointment when you are on your way or running late
-Complete paperwork after every appointment
-Get with the office on any issues in the field.
Hours are Monday-Friday: 8- average 4-5 sometimes a little later to try and finish a job.

Pay ranges $21-$25 per hour
