GIS/AutoCAD Specialist

This position as aGIS/AutoCAD Specialist is one of full-time employment. The GIS/AutoCAD Specialist is responsiblefor the production of figures, maps, exhibits, etc., and otherdocumentation in support of Providence's multiple media groups. Assignmentswill be primarily office-based and require departmental collaboration in astrong team-oriented environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge,Skills and Abilities):

• An associate's or bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field
• Three years of experience working with GIS software and spatial analysis.
• Experience with GIS software such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, ArcGIS Online, (Survey123, Field Maps, QuickCapture, etc.) AutoCAD/AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products, e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Production of maps, figures, and large-format meeting exhibits.
• Provide technical expertise in GIS and AutoCAD software.
• Conduct spatial analyses.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure GIS data and analyses support project goals.
• Remotely support environmental field crews using GIS online via Field Maps, Survey123, and QuickCapture.
