SalaryOMS Field Services is looking for a GIS Mapping Analyst to work in our clients Vegetation Management program. This position will Compile, manipulate, and analyze geospatial data. Business conduct must occur in accordance with OMS policies and procedures and be aligned with the goals of OMS and our client.

The employee must occasionally lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to perform tasks during a typical 8+ hour workday.
Essential Functions:
- Design, develop, and maintain databases and systems of GIS data.
- Create reports, maps, applications, and visualizations conveying the results of spatial analyses.
- Utilizes scripting languages to refine GIS data pipelines and processes.
- Provide GIS training or assistance to other organization members.
- Other duties as assigned by OMS or the client.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Forestry related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Two years job-related experience (i.e., Utility Tree Crew).
- OSHA 30 Hour Certification.
- Required to maintain a Class C driver’s license, including participating in Employer Pull Notice Program (EPN), with DMV.
- Conduct a background check, drug screening, and health exam.
- Approval by Client Representative.
