The Opportunity:
Coordinate the development and documentation of fiber optic projects, provisioning and budget quotes in accordance with guidelines mandated by corporate and regulatory agencies. Maintain fiber optic Smallworld database for projects, Missouri One-Call, member and foreign pole attachments, cooperatives, investor owned and municipal aerial and underground plant. Monitor final documentation for closing project. Administers database management of construction projects.
What you’ll be doing:
· Interpreting Construction plans.
· Developing construction routes based on virtual and coop GIS maps.
· Maintaining GIS (Smallworld) database for fiber infrastructure, splicing, underground location boundaries for Mo-One Call, easements, coop boundaries, tax districts and environmental areas. Maintaining database for Missouri One Call and provide updated documentation to underground location company (USIC) every 2 weeks. Maintaining database on fiber location, right of way and landowner issues.
· Coordinating provisioning of splice diagrams to Intranet for SMT and contract fiber technicians.
· Coordinating utility crossing and pole attachment permits database.
· Estimating dark co-op fiber and non-co-op fiber for route distance to be used for cost estimation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,103.00 - $81,344.00 per year
