Part-time and full time positions available. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as required by scheduled demands. Must have experience with computers / cashiering and customer service. Pay is $12 an hour depending on experience with review at 60 days.
- Providing a warm introduction to the guests shopping experience with a friendly and upbeat demeanor.
- Greet customers in a friendly manner when they enter, offer assistance in locating merchandise, and respond to any questions customers may have.
- Display merchandise in a neat, eye-appealing manner, restock items as necessary, check expiration dates, and discard expired items.
- Keep the Gift Shop neat and clean. Complete customer purchases and process all payment types including returns, refunds, and exchanges.
- Must be capable of opening, closing, and balancing a cash register at the end of each shift.
- Flexability of working at both parks (Henderson Beach State Park & Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou State Park)
- This position has the responsibility to account for all merchandise and rental equipment sold.
- Assist with stocking, displaying, and facing merchandise as needed.
- Answering all phone calls in a polite and courteous manner.
- Must have experience with computers / cashiering and customer service.
- Must be ready for an always changing environment and the willingness to adapt to shifts with foul weather that may require shutting down for the day and perhaps working at an alternate location
