Role: Gift Processing Coordinator
Position: Gift and Data Coordinator
Classification: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Reports to: Manager, Gift Records and Data Analysis
Location: Houston, TX

Position Description:
The Gift and Data Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day data entry and gift acknowledgement duties and ensure the timely entry and recognition of donations meet the growing demands of increased giving – particularly those that are in the works through growth in the Advancement department and the new programs that DCC is implementing and planning.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years’ experience in a non-profit setting preferred.
- 2 years’ experience with Virtuous, Raiser’s Edge, or a relational database preferred.
- Experience in data entry, Gift Processing and receipting preferred.
- Understanding of basic accounting concepts desired.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task with uncompromising attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity relating to donor philanthropic desires.
- Ability to interact with a diverse client base with culture sensitivity.
- Commitment to professionalism, effective communication in all interactions, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

- Range of Schedule: Mon – Fri, 7:00 am to 8:00 pm
