The American Red Cross is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst – Gift Processing. This position is a work-from-home opportunity and can be located anywhere in the United States.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Participate in activities that involve relationships with external vendors responsible for receiving,
recording, and acknowledging gifts given to the organization. Coordinate the organization’s gift
processing, including the receiving, entering, batching, posting, acknowledgment, and reporting of all forms of gifts or donations, including but not limited to cash, checks, credit cards, securities, in-kind, and matching gifts. Manages and/or oversees relationships with banks and vendors who handle such activities as cadging/cashiering, lockboxes, mail processing, and acknowledgment.
WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE GOOD:
1. Responsible for reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of the gift processing procedures.
2. Create, review, and edit SOPs and Job Aids to ensure all procedures are documented.
3. Responsible for utilizing several software programs to develop reports and track information.
(Power BI and SharePoint are not limited to).
4. Generate and distribute financial analysis reports, and special reports, lead projects, and/or develop and implement metric standards and measurement criteria to improve the quality and
Cost-effectiveness of Gift Processing team.
5. Typically has unit-specific duties within the scope of the job.
6. Ability to manage multiple priorities.
7. Excellent communication skills/Detailed oriented.
8. Utilize data/casework gathered from evaluations to identify trends for areas of improvement for Gift Processing staff, vendors, and field partners.
9. Ability to work independently and utilize resources to troubleshoot processing challenges.
10. Evaluate and provide feedback on all gift-processing procedures.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: 4-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years required
Essential Functions/Physical Requirements: Depending on the work assignment, may require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or the ability to stand, walk, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of up to 20 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment, and read technical information. Overall mobility is essential. This may include sitting for long periods of time, driving a vehicle, and working under challenging conditions.
Work Conditions: Work is performed indoors with some potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to emergency services relief work. May travel and participate in meetings and conferences throughout chapter jurisdiction, state, and the Red Cross system. Because the Red Cross is a disaster response organization, staff may be asked to be on 24-hour call during periods of major disaster.
COMPENSATION:
The salary range for this position is: $60,000 - $65,000
