POSITION SUMMARY
Primarily involves providing positive customer service while processing financial transactions.
Must have accurate cash handling skills and the ability to process credit or debit card transactions, validate checks, money orders, Western Union, and activate phone cards. Must be able to use cash register, electronic scanners, calculators, and other equipment. Involves maintaining store cleanliness and safe working environment while providing exceptional customer service.
POSITION QUALIFICATONS
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in retail sales preferred.
- Ability to perform the essential duties, responsibilities and skills listed below.

- Ability to work as scheduled and arrive on time.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.

- Greet guests entering establishments.
- Accurate and proper cash handling according to policies and procedures.
- Establish or identify prices of goods and tabulate totals using calculators, cash registers, or optical price scanners.
- Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, and debit cards.
- Process Western Union, lottery, EBT, phone cards and money orders for guests.
- Bag merchandise.
- Post charges against guests' accounts.
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
- Responsible for accurate cash drawer.
- Sort, count, and wrap currency and coins.
- Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas.
- Answer guests' questions and provide information and assistance as needed.
- Resolve guest complaints.
- Stock shelves, and mark prices on shelves and items.
- Process merchandise returns and exchanges.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to guests.
- Front merchandise on shelves, racks, and coolers.
- Maintain fountain area by keeping clean and stocked, including making fresh coffee.
- Sweep, mop, dust, and clean all areas of store including restrooms.
- Maintain clean parking lot.
- Empty and take out trash in all areas of store and parking lot.
- Keep Fuel Island clean and island amenities stocked.
- Clean displays, shelves, racks, cases, bins, tables, and aisles.
- Perform duties assigned by upper management.
- Diligently follow Johnson & Johnson safety procedures.
- Follow company policies and procedures along with city, county, state, and federal laws.
- Consist of mainly indoor work in a temperature-controlled environment, frequently outdoors in order to clean parking lot change gasoline prices ETC.
- Occasional work in a walk-in cooler and/or freezer
- Requires continuous movement.
- Ability to work under pressure and at a face pace.
- Exposure to occasional noise.
- Ability to stand and walk an entire shift.
- May occasionally lift and or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead.
- May occasionally lift and or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waste level.
- May occasionally push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds.
- Ability to bend at the waist with some twisting.
