Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Pest Control Technicians provide the vital link between our company and our clients through exceptional customer service. They spend their day traveling to appointments and meeting with customers to assess pest problems in and around their homes, apartments, offices, and workplaces and executing specialized treatment plans. They will also recommend corrective actions to prevent future pest problems. Overall, our Technicians spend the day helping other people in the community by solving their pest challenges, building long-term relationships with those on their route, and protecting our customers' homes and businesses.

- Delivering extraordinary customer service
- Responding to customer's needs in a professional and timely manner
- Physically administering and monitoring various pest control measures, indoors and outdoors in potentially hot or cold working environments
- Performing physical labor and using a variety of tools/equipment, both detailed below
- Establishing effective working relationships with customers and co-workers
- Effectively communicating with customers and coworkers in the office, verbally and in writing, as needed
- Reading, understanding, and following labels and SDS forms for hazardous chemicals used during service
- Working independently and maintaining your route
- Driving a company vehicle safely to customer's homes and businesses
- Using a handheld device to manage services and document structural, sanitation, and pest issues
- Following all proper safety guidelines
- Inspecting, maintaining, and utilizing PPE (personal protective equipment)
- Maintaining working order and cleanliness of assigned company vehicle
- Keep up to date of the company's product and service offerings
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- The ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
- Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule (typical hours range between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. with occasional exceptions)
- Availability to work some weekends
- High school degree or equivalent
Required Skills:
- Technical proficiency with computers, smart phones, etc.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Solid attention to detail
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely move about customer locations, ascend/descend stairs and ladders to service out of the way areas, and position self to conduct service under/around furniture, equipment, and tight spaces
- Ability to safely move items and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in all regular seasonal weather conditions
Supervisory Responsibilities:
