Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
- Provides environmental support and leadership for RBU assets and activities pertaining to regulatory data reporting for Colorado and Federal rules and regulations.
- Provides technical guidance and direction on environmental matters including simple and effective procedures to collect operational data and perform needed calculations where applicable to develop reporting documentation for GHG internal and external reporting, CO Regulation 7, ONGEAIR, and EPA Subpart W, OOOOa, and OOOOb.
- Understand and supports forecast modeling for air constituents such as NOx, GHG, methane and other air emission constituents.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders (regulatory, operations, engineering, corporate and public affairs, government affairs, etc.) to implement and verify data reporting requirements including a Business Unit specific Standard Operating Procedures. This includes limited and/or reasonable assurance practices for GHG reporting and other air emissions as warranted.
- Engages with external stakeholders regarding new data reporting requirements for all air emissions and other data where applicable (SPCC, air toxics, etc.).
- Serves as the Chevron lead for air emissions reporting including providing leadership for a team of internal staff and contractors.
- Serves as a team member for the implementation of the Chevron Operational Excellence (OE) Environment Risk Management Process to ensure that environmental risks are appropriately mitigated and safeguards in place.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of related experience in air emissions reporting within the oil and gas industry.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology (IT), chemical, environmental, or mechanical engineering or related degree.
- Demonstrates proficient knowledge of Colorado Air Regulations including Regulation 7, ONGEAIR, and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Subpart W.
- Ability to work efficiently independently as well as effectively within a team environment.
- Demonstrates leadership capabilities through effective guidance skills with ability to provide work direction and training.
- Proficient with public speaking and communication of complex concepts into simple and understandable presentations to a wide audience including public forums and business focus groups such as operations, wells, and finance.
- Strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organization, prioritization, time management and attention to detail skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Able to work within Intelex ACTS in terms of aggregating data, assuring methodology and data QA/QC reviews are completed per requirements and capable of building data exports to support reporting or internal company summarization and presentations.
- Able to manage technical scopes of work with key internal and external stakeholders including management of contractors to assist in data reporting scopes including IT support or direction to update ACTS systems.
- Has experience working with government and corporate affairs teams to document and present air emissions data.

- The anticipated salary range for this position is $114,500 - $196,400
