The Role:

Factory ZERO is our first, all-electric automotive assembly plant and the blueprint of General Motors' electric future! We have a corporate vision of “Zero crashes, Zero emissions, Zero congestion.” Our most novel products like the Hummer EV and our very first autonomous vehicle, Cruise Origin will be assembled right in this facility. This requires us to employ the most upbeat, capable, and innovative talent to ensure we meet the challenges of developing the new manufacturing processes required to assemble these outstanding products! The GEPICS (Global Enterprise Production Information Control System) Coordinator is responsible overseeing the GEPICs System. GEPICS manages the in-process vehicle build data at the assembly plant and communicates this data to the plant floor systems. The system captures trace data & test results. This role will collaborate with suppliers, LLP, and plant floor on material issues, and requires high level of Interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, analytical ability where problems are somewhat complex and excellent oral and written communication.

What You’ll Do:

  • Research/Provide information to internal customers regarding scheduling questions
  • Lead/Review vehicle holds, status counters, output rules to GA and block builds.
  • Review No-Hit and Multi Hit report to ensure part & data file broadcasts are accurate
  • Support & handle ECR Changes & countdowns in GEPICS
  • Coordinate vehicle set ins/set outs
  • Manage MVB “Bucket” Build and vehicle restrictions
  • Communicate special build needs and routine GEPICS checks
  • Prepare and Distribute Old Car/Stagnant Car Report
  • Support plant floor and quality with trace data & EOL (end of line) testing

Additional Description

Your Skills and Abilities:

  • Minimum 1-3 years working within Supply Chain/Manufacturing Environment
  • Knowledge of material department operation, manufacturing processes, and departmental relationships
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Proficient knowledge/background in IT

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge:

  • Knowledge of MGO-A & GEPICS preferred
  • College degree with a focus in Supply Chain Management or Engineering (Preferred)
