Job description

DNV – Digital Solutions is now looking for an Intern for our Asset Integrity Software Consulting team. This internship is a great learning experience where interns will have the opportunity to work on different projects that address real challenges in the Oil and Gas / Software Solutions industry such as, GIS data analysis, software configuration with geospatial data, risk modeling and assessment. Interns will work in teams and be mentored by senior geospatial engineers, managers and consultants.

This 40-hours-per-week position available for an immediate start, or a start of no later than mid-May, and is expected to last through mid-August 2023

This position is based in our Katy, Texas or Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania office but flexibility could be available

What You’ll Do

Assisting on ad hoc projects
Assisting with databases, loading data and database management
Data analysis and analytics
Dashboarding and visualization
Software configuration and documentation
Updating data and risk models

What is Required

Pursuing or completed Bachelors/Masters in: Geography, Geospatial Engineering, Data Science
GIS knowledge, preferably Esri
Programming knowledge or database development
Attention to detail and commitment to high standards
Individuals should be self-motivated and work well in teams
Experience with DNV Software Products and Solutions and their use of GIS data
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Pre-employment drug and background screening
