Geoscience Summer Intern
Areyou a college student looking to gain valuable work experience, make money forthe summer all while contributing to a leading O&G Services Company!
Our8-12-week internship program provides hands-on learning and buildingexperiences for students who are interested in a career in Geoscience, Geology, GIS, Library Science or a related field. In addition to working on impactful projects, you will have theopportunity to engage with other employees of Core Lab for professionaldevelopment, expanding your network, and participating in activities (e.g.,team building, social, educational, etc.) with other interns throughout yourinternship.
Opportunity to gain real-life experience while producing workproduct for an O&G services company with an 80-year history!
EXPERIENCE
- Ability to balance multiple projects and initiatives while executing results
- Must be a self-starter who can work independently while contributing to the team goals
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills are preferred
- Proven leadership/participation with campus programs and/or community service activities is desire
- Lab research experience.
- Cataloging and archiving data experience.
- Sorting for duplicated Geoscience articles, publications, files.
- Learn to work in RAPID (a web-enableddatabase application for organizing, archiving, retrieving, and summarizing reservoircharacterization data) sytem for accessing informaion.
QUALIFICATIONSAND REQUIREMENTS
- Paid Internship
- Full time (40 hours per week)
- Candidates must be actively enrolled in an accredited University for the duration of the internship assignment pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Engineering, Science, or Computer Science.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to work in the city of the posting location without relocation assistance.
