The Full-Time Instructor, Geology will teach courses for college transfer and specific program students. This position will assume the responsibilities of preparation, classroom instruction, lab instruction, grading, recordkeeping, etc., 1-4 classes per semester. Classes are offered during the day, afternoon, and night, and may be face-to-face or via distance education technology. Classes are offered on main campus and off-campus sites.
Minimum Qualifications 1.Master’s Degree or higher with 18 graduate hours is Geology
Note: Degrees and hours must be from a college accredited by a US Department of Education accepted accrediting agency such as SACSCOC.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Physical Demands - Assume responsibility for teaching assignments as designated by the department chairperson and approved by the dean.
- Assume responsibility for maintaining all required College records including attendance and grade reports, roll books, etc.
- Compile bibliographies of specialized materials or outside reading assignments as applicable.
- Make recommendations to Department Chair for supplies, equipment, and equipment repairs.
- Construct, administer, and grade examinations.
- Assume responsibility for being familiar with and adhering to all policies of the College.
