We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Generative AI ConsultantStrategy and Governance Lead to spearhead the development and implementation of a comprehensive Generative AI and LLM strategy for our client This role will play a crucial part in shaping the future of healthcare delivery and operational excellence within the institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a thorough assessment of how Generative AI can enhance an organization's clinical strategic plan.
- Develop clear goals and a 3-year roadmap towards achieving a mature Generative AI implementation.
- Create a prioritization framework for pilot projects and tool/functionality integration.
- Explore and establish partnerships with vendors, consortia, and collaboratives.
- Benchmark against peer institutions for learning and alignment opportunities.
- Evaluate the balance between leveraging external Generative AI tools and developing internal capabilities.
- Understand and integrate into the organization's structure and culture seamlessly.
- Conduct comparative analyses of organizational structures at peer institutions and make structured recommendations.
- Assess and define the bandwidth necessary to support the Generative AI strategic vision.
- Clarify the scope of accountability and operational leadership structure for Generative AI initiatives.
- Develop a vision for cross-collaboration within the organization and the broader University.
- Recommend a long-term governance structure for Generative AI initiatives within the healthcare setting.
- Ensure the new governance structure complements existing frameworks without causing duplication or confusion.
- Incorporate learnings and best practices from peer institutions and the industry at large.
- Define the scope of expertise required within the governance structure to facilitate strategic decisions and oversight.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or other related degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- 8+ years of experience in roles related to strategy, transformation, technology adoption, business advisory, and/or consulting within IT and business/clinical operations.
- 6+ years providing advisory services with demonstrated knowledge and ability to navigate
- Generative AI and LLM.
- Understanding of artificial intelligence technologies and their applications within diverse
- business environments:
- Experience with data security, data privacy, and governance frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to lead successful change management initiatives, demonstrating the
- ability to navigate organizations through complex transformations.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders at
- various organizational levels.
- Demonstrated ability to set and achieve performance metrics and KPIs, with a focus on
- delivering tangible and measurable results.
Preferred Qualification:
- Advanced degree (e.g. Master’s, PhD, etc.) desired.
- Experience with AI in healthcare is strongly preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $215,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
