Job Summary: Are you looking for a new position with a company that cares deeply about its people and your professional development? This position assists with the design, development and execution of communications, programs and policies that enable employee potential and are aligned with business objectives. To accomplish this, you’ll work on key projects with the Human Resources Work Group as well as internal and external customers, while actively fostering a workplace culture that motivates employees, ensuring they are trained and developed to enjoy success in their role. This position reports to the Human Resources Manager.


Responsibilities of the Role:
• Shape workplace culture: sponsor/host/manage employee events, offer support, boost engagement, and inspire growth
• Facilitate and support FUN Committee, Safety & Wellness, & Community Service Teams
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
• Contribute to the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall employee experience.
• Back-up to HR Coordinator/front desk
• Active member of the company-wide HR Working Group
• Support the strategic Human Resources initiatives as identified in the Business Operating Plans
• Manages all duties with utmost discretion and confidentiality
• Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related queries and concerns
• Facilitate communication between employees and management to foster a positive work environment
• Address and resolve employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner
• Support the implementation of performance management processes.
• Identify training needs and partner with L&D Manager to coordinate training programs.
• Assist in the development and implementation of employee development initiatives.
• Communicate policy updates and changes and ensure consistent application and compliance with HR policies and procedures
• Partner with hiring managers and the HR Manager during the candidate employment offer process, providing position salary range details, potential start dates, and other pertinent information
• Facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding procedures
• Regular attendance is required
• Other projects as assigned by Manager, Human Resources
 

Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Education
o Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience required
• Experience
o Minimum of three experience of increasing responsibility in Human Resources preferred
• Other required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
o Highly motivated, self-driven, and eager to learn and apply new skills
o Attentive to details and follows through on assigned tasks and commitments
o Flexible and driven to meet tight deadlines, handle multiple projects and prioritize them appropriately
o Strong organizational skills, and ability to effectively disseminate information in a clear and concise manner
o Experience with ADP Workforce Now is strongly preferred
o Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint expertise required
o Project management and change management skills
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
o Up to date on key federal, state and local laws and regulations
o Must be eligible to work in the United States, visa sponsorships are not available
