General Warehouse Worker

We are looking for a Warehouse Worker to participate in our warehouse operations and activities. Warehouse worker responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (pick, pack, wrap, label, ship and strap)
• Load/offload trucks and containers with forklift
• Receiving and documenting merchandise for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Keeping inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse
• Identifying any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notifying the supervisor
• Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping
• Managing all merchandise with appropriate care
• Performing inventory counts and keeping quality standards high for audits
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Report any discrepancies
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
• Ensuring we have enough stock of warehouse supplies (boxes, peanuts, bags, water, etc.)
• Replenishing picking zones in warehouse

Skills

• Proven working experience as a Warehouse Worker
• Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects (~50lbs)
• Current forklift license
• High school degree
• Positive attitude
• Good with numbers

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $30,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
