Summary of Position:

As a Sheet Metal Grinder, you will play a crucial role in shaping the quality of our enclosures. Your primary responsibility involves precision grinding of sheet metal in a flat pattern, while ensuring that the finished components meet the highest standards. Beyond your role at the grinding wheel, you will also be entrusted with the care of grinding equipment, contributing to its optimal performance, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Your commitment to precision and attention to detail will be key in producing top-notch components for our cutting-edge enclosures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Grinding metal using grinder machine, sander, and time saver.

· Use small hand tools such as wrenches and pneumatic grinders.

· Prepping parts prior to outside process

· Sustains 5S in workstations.

· Practices ESL’s core values daily

· Use lean practices and processes to improve department efficiency.

· Abide by all rules and regulations as set forth in your employee handbook.

· Perform other duties/tasks as assigned.

· Follow safety procedures and wear required Proper Protective Equipment

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1+ years of grinding experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.50 - $20.50 per hour
