ON CALL, AS NEEDED

Pay Rate: $16.00/hr

RMG is looking to build a Per Diem labor pool of qualified employees who are looking to become and remain a part of the company with a flexible work schedule.

Per Diem employees are employees utilized AS NEEDED to work flexible schedules and hours based on business needs.

  • Per diem employees are maintained in an active status with RMG.
  • Scheduled shifts and hours can vary significantly from week to week based on business needs.
  • Weekly schedules will be managed and provided to employees with as much advance notice as possible.
  • Per diem employees are eligible to receive overtime should they exceed their scheduled hours (with manager approval) in accordance with state & federal regulations.
  • Per diem employees will be considered for full-time openings with RMG as opportunities become available.

RMG per diem employees will provide General Warehouse labor, including but not limited to:

  • Pick/pack/ship
  • Assembly/kitting
  • Truck loading/unloading
  • Cycle counting

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of Warehouse experience.
  • Ability to work flexible hours that can change significantly from week to week.
  • Availability to work overtime during peak seasons, if needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
  • Ability to spend up to 100% of work time standing or moving. Physical activities include frequent use of hand tools, bending, stooping, lifting, carrying, walking and/or reaching regularly.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Reliable attendance is required as work cannot be performed remotely.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
  • Support Robertson Marketing’s mission and comply with all policies and procedures.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Essential Skills, Abilities & Knowledge:

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail, ability to recognize inconsistencies and make corrections to ensure accuracy.
  • Ability to use computer (RF) devices.
  • Ability to be certified on lift trucks and comply with all safety procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Must demonstrate the willingness to learn new skills, show an interest in growing the company and always present a professional positive attitude.

Physical Demands:

Warehouse area environment. Will regularly be required to carry, lift, push or pull weights up to 50 Lbs. Will walk or stand 90% of the time and operator a forklift 10% of the time. This position is responsible for the operation of a forklift and RF Gun which requires sight sufficient for equipment use and significant detail for picking/packing orders. This position also requires an individual with hearing sufficient for telephone contact as well as in person communication.
