ABOUT THE ROLE: Ideal candidate will have at least 6+ months of General Warehouse experience and is proficient operating a variety of material handling equipment, such as forklifts, high-drive lifts and walkie-rider pallet jacks. Preferred candidates will have exposure to handling soft and cased goods in the furniture industry.

GENERAL DUTIES:

• Accurately record all inventory transactions using RF scanners and warehouse management system
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory processes
• Light assembly, pallet banding, shrink-wrapping and repackaging items
• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Identify, hold and escalate any orders not meeting specifications
• Maintain safe and clean work environment
• Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma preferred, but not required
• Power equipment experience, preferably an OSHA approved license
• Must be able to operate independently on assigned tasks
• Experience with handheld RF guns/scanners preferred but not required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to lift/carry 0-75 pounds frequently and 75 - 150 pounds occasionally (team lift)
• Must be able to push/pull up to 150 pounds frequently
• Must be able to bend/twist/stoop/kneel/squat/reach frequently
• Must be able to stand/walk constantly through entire 8-hour or 10-hour shift
• Must be able to hold and operate a handheld scanner frequently
• Must be able to reach with outstretched arms frequently
• Must be able to reach overhead occasionally

Must be able to work with exposure to seasonal temperature changes
