Overview

The General Warehouse Associatewould assist in our Picking and Packing departments. Once trained in one area, we provide cross-training, giving you the complete warehouse experience

Essential Functions

• Picking – Pick parts for orders, stock inventory
• Packing – Check product in totes for accuracy, select the correct size box to pack items in, affix shipping label and other labels or placards that might be needed, operate machinery to create boxes or tape them up in preparation for shipping
• Comply with all company safety rules and regulations
• Maintain orderly housekeeping of assigned area
• Other tasks as assigned and/or needed

Non-essential Functions

• Cover for other positions as needed

Required Qualifications and Education

• 1-year experience in Warehouse/Manufacturing environment preferred
• Above average mathematic, organizational, and time management skills

Physical Demands

• Must be able to move up to 50 pounds, employees are encouraged to use good judgment with heavy or bulky packages, seek help when lifting objects exceeding 35 pounds
• Must be able to reach a maximum height of 6 feet
• Must be able to handle a 2lb handheld device and read from a screen
• Must be able to move about inside the warehouse including ascend/descend from ladders and stairs and/or be stationary for 7 hours a day
• Must be able to accurately locate(letter and number scheme), grasp, and count products
• Must be able to communicate verbally and written
