Encore Label & Packaging is a growing label and packaging manufacturer with locations in Charlotte, North Carolina and Cincinnati, Ohio. We serve a wide variety of markets and industries, including but not limited to grocery, food & beverage, consumer products, automotive, e-commerce and distribution. Our dedicated employees give every account careful attention and are committed to excellence. We are seeking experienced flexographic press operators to join our team.
We are currently hiring for
1st shift Utility Worker/Material Handler with 1 – 5 years experience. Hours are 9am-5pm.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Keep production area, around machines clean and organized, including taking out waste from machines multiple times per shift.
- Work in warehouse utilizing a forklift. (Experience a must)
- Load and unload trucks as directed (Fork Lift Experience a must)
- Review job ticket at each press and set up material and cartons as needed, take finished product to warehouse, and return all unused material to it's proper location.
- Working knowledge of computers (ERP software) required.
- Setting up material needed at presses to take them 4 hours into the next shift.
- Communicates with warehouse supervisor or shift lead regarding any issues with material or housekeeping items.
- Return unused raw materials back to the proper locations.
- Lift up to 30 pounds.
- May require to help pack at rotary printing press machines.
- Stand and walk for long periods at a time.
- Light front office cleaning each week or as needed, including sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, mopping, and taking out trash
- Based on business need, assists in other job functions as required.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
