Job Summary:
Memorial Health University Medical Center is seeking a Program Director to join their well-known, established General Surgery residency program.Qualified Candidates:
- Must be American Board-certified in General Surgery
- Applicants must have a minimum of three (3) years of prior academic leadership appointments and experience per the ACGME requirements
- Have strong administrative and team building skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Combination teaching and clinical responsibilities
- Will be responsible for administration and operations; teaching and scholarly activity; resident recruitment and selection, evaluation, promotion, and disciplinary action; supervision of residents; and resident education in the context of patient care
