We invite you to be a part of our devoted medical team at CVMC in a full-time, 12-month salaried position as a General Surgeon. Beyond meeting the surgical needs of our community, this revered role amalgamates clinical finesse with the honor of molding future surgeons through academia.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver general surgical services to our community, upholding CVMC's clinical reputation.
- Focus on approximately 75% general surgery and potentially 25% trauma care (subject to change).
- Adhere to a 1/4 call schedule.
- Conduct surgical procedures, notably endoscopies and breast biopsies.
- Mentor medical students and general surgery residents from the University of Vermont.
- Practice in a community setting with an academic affiliation to the University of Vermont Medical Center.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree specialized in General Surgery.
- Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery.
- Completion of an RRC-accredited general surgery residency.
- Eligibility for a medical license in Vermont.
- Eligibility for work within the United States.
- Expertise in various general surgical procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
