POSITION SUMMARY
Panino General Labor may perform the duties of panino roller or packer on any given day depending on the needs of the department and crewing for the day.
JOB TASKS / FUNCTIONS
· Roll meat around cheese on a moving conveyor line. Stacks rolled paninos onto stainless steel tray.
· Places product into packages
· Properly weigh product and accurately record data.
· Ensure data on labels and packaging is accurate.
· Responsible for moving product to Shipping.
· Properly palletize products.
· Must be able to properly count packages going into boxes.
· Must meet productivity requirements.
· Observe company safety policies
· Any other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently and within a team environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- HS Diploma, GED or equivalent
PPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Regularly required to stand; use hands and fingers in a repetitive motion. Frequently required to stand, walk and reach above the head. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl and talk or hear. The employee is required to lift a minimum of ten (10) lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment ranges from normal office levels to loud factory / warehouse levels.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, 1st, 2nd and/or 3rd shifts
- Ability to work in temperature conditions between 35 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit; may occasionally exceed 95 degrees Fahrenheit
