Norton King's Daughters' Health located in Madison, IN is seeking two board certified Pediatrics Physicians to join their team. 

About Norton King’s Daughters’ Hospital

King’s Daughters’ Hospital in Madison, Indiana, has been caring for the community for over 120 years, and opened its primary campus and 86-bed, acute-care hospital in 2013. Norton Healthcare acquired the hospital in early 2022 and renamed it Norton King’s Daughters’ Health. It is Norton Healthcare’s sixth hospital and its first outside of Louisville, Kentucky. King’s Daughters’ Hospital was established in 1899 and has since grown into a regional health center. It serves residents throughout southeast Indiana and northern Kentucky. Its additional services include an outpatient rehabilitation center, home health and hospice services, a convenient care center and an award-winning cancer treatment center affiliated with Norton Cancer Institute. 

About the Position

  • Open to new grads
  • General Pediatric practice providing both inpatient & outpatient services with call
  • Call 1 in 4 – participate in call coverage for clinic, hospital rounding, admissions, ER consults and call
  • Enjoy the benefits of having an established patient base from day one
  • Four (4) day work week
  • Office suite is adjacent to the hospital
  • Level 1 Nursery
  • Only hospital in the county offering pediatric services
  • Deliver approximately 371 babies per year
  • Opportunity to grow market share
  • Pediatric Social Worker in the pediatric office four (4) days a week
  • NKDH C-Section rate is lower than the National rate
  • Pediatricians only attend C-Sections and deliveries that OB physicians deem necessary
  • Respiratory attends C-Sections
  • VBACS – we average 1 a month and the pediatricians are required to attend within 17 minutes
  • Circumcision experience is highly preferred
  • Physician needs to be within 17-20 minutes of the hospital in case they are called and need to return to the facility
  • Pediatricians are required to attend Code17 – Stat Emergency C-Section/Delivery
  • Provide Concussion management
  • Lab and x-ray services on site

Requirements

  • Medical degree/diploma
  • Residency/fellowship certification
  • Board certification or board eligible 
  • Indiana medical license or license eligible
