DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Loads and unloads freight, stocks merchandise sections appropriately and ensures pricing is correct.
• Have a good knowledge of the departments variety of products and their location. Be aware of guests at all times and assist them with their product selections and inquiries in a friendly manner.
• Assists in maintaining accurate pricing by use of price books, daily-weekly price change sheets and merchandising and promotional lists.
• Assists General Merchandise Manager with cross merchandising ideas with other departments.
• Removes unsellable merchandise and transports to assigned areas.

PHYSICAL/SENSORY DEMANDS

Work is generally performed in a safe and comfortable store environment with the possibility of frequent exposure to hot or cold conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to grasp, push, pull, carry, stoop, twist, crouch, and reach; perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and eye, hand and foot coordination; hear and respond to customer inquiries. Also requires standing, walking and bending throughout the entire work day and the ability to maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 30 pounds from location to location.
