Job Description
We are seeking a General Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of the entire Atlanta operation. The company provides pool cleaning services and repairs to residential homeowners who own swimming pools.
Responsibilities:
- Create an amazing workplace for our team
- Implement innovative approaches to attract and retain both customers and staff
- Manage the team of field supervisors (teach them how to be great leaders)
- Profit and Loss responsibility to meet financial objectives
- Implement (and oversee implementations) of systems, processes and workflows
- Track monthly results and trends for business forecasting
- Resolve escalated customer complaints
Qualifications:
- MUST have 5+ years in a similar role
- NO previous INDUSTRY experience is preferred (we want someone with "fresh perspectives" that can think creatively. We are innovating in an outdated industry)
- Be comfortable thinking outside the box (maybe WAY outside the box)
- Ability to thrive in a unstructured environment and implement needed structure
- Comfortable with fast growth!
- Previous experience creating and implementing process, standards and workflows
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities with 5+ years in similar role
- This role can be done remote, but we would prefer an applicant that can travel to the Atlanta metro area once per month. Maybe 1 week per month to start, but 2 or 3 days per month after the first 6 months.
