Employment Type: Full-Time in office: 8:00am – 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday
Experience: The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years prior experience as manager or assistant manager working in an office to support multiple levels of employees.
Location: Romeoville, IL
We’re seeking a highly organized, process-oriented and people savvy candidate to manage a multi-faceted team of 15+ employees. The General Manager’s role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensure high levels of organizational effectiveness, hold all team members accountable to individual KPI’s, and provide key communication, prioritization, discipline, escalation, and coordination to employees, customers, and business partners.
Requirements/ Required Skills:
· Associates Degree or equivalent/relevant work experience in office management
· Comfortable addressing employee issues and providing feedback to staff
· Pharmacy/ healthcare or manufacturing & distribution experience a plus!
· Punctual and reliable
· Enjoy working in a small office environment
· Friendly with excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Team player with strong work ethic and exceptional customer service skills
· Willing to learn new concepts and be flexible
· Ability to multi-task, stay organized and handle stressful situations
· Time management and prioritization skills are a must
· Ability to identify, prioritize, research, document and bring issues to resolution
· Fluency in Microsoft Office
· Accountable with good follow up skills
· Able to build relationships with staff
· Operate autonomously without constant oversight
· Critical thinking and decision making skills pertaining to Human Resource issues
· Comfortable with Microsoft applications and able to quickly learn new technology platforms
Job description and responsibilities:
· Oversee and manage individual resources in all departments
· Manage hiring and training of new staff
· Use KPI’s combined with CRM software to gauge capacity and performance of employees
· Administer annual performance reviews
· Provide feedback and performance improvement plans for all staff
· Communicate human resource needs, capacity, and performance to PAS leadership team
· Use logic and problem-solving skills to help customers & vendors with various needs when escalated to management level
· Enforce and propose modifications to current procedures/policies when needed
· Distribution of sales leads/customer service inquiries to appropriate team members and oversight of execution
· Understand key markets, competitors, products, and changes to help organization adapt and grow.
