Rootstock Hospitality Group, a locally owned & operated restaurant group is excited to start hiring for our newest concept – Aberdeen Social House. ASH will be a polished lunch and dinner concept featuring chef focused menu items in a warm and beautifully designed space.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall facility operation, function, and appearance.
- Hire, train, and motivate an award-winning team of people that are passionate about food, service, and hospitality.
- Maximize sales volume, profitability, team member & customer satisfaction.
What you’ll do:
- Oversee the overall operations of the restaurant including both FOH & BOH to ensure the restaurant’s financial success with an emphasis on maintaining team member and guest satisfaction results.
- Develop and execute the strategic direction of the restaurant to generate growth while maintaining the highest food, beverage, and service standards.
- Play a key role in recruiting and retaining talent by being involved in the hiring process, orientation, employee engagement, development, and performance management throughout the year.
- Facilitate weekly manager meetings to review staffing levels, training & development, employee & customer issues, maintenance, and other various issues.
- Conduct daily facility walk-throughs (interior & exterior) to ensure a clean, safe, and customer friendly atmosphere.
- Prepare reports and analyze metrics to identify opportunities to correct and/or improve operations.
- Ensure that all financial information and reports are completed and submitted according to procedures and due dates set by the DOO.
- Optimize restaurant profitability by effectively monitoring and controlling ALL costs.
- Always maintain a professional business demeanor and appearance. Set the example for all team members and act as a role model by following all company guidelines.
- Develop and maintain key customer relationships and be a positive member of the community.

- Prior upscale restaurant and leadership experience.
- Willing to work the hours necessary to operate and manage the day-to-day business and to accomplish the short and long-term goals of the restaurant.
- 5+ years of restaurant management with at least 2 yrs. GM experience in a higher-end, high volume restaurant
- Ability to communicate effectively and listen attentively to supervisors, employees, vendors, and customers.
- Proficiency in the following dimensions of restaurant operations: purchasing, sanitation, security, policies & procedures, personnel management, record-keeping, sales & marketing.
Salary:
- $85,000-$110,00/year + high bonus potential
