General Manager

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee our operations. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our establishment, including inventory control, team management, and customer service. Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the establishment, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
- Manage inventory control to optimize stock levels and minimize waste
- Lead a team of employees, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
- Implement shift management strategies to maintain high-quality service during peak hours
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food service operations
- Conduct interviews and hire qualified candidates for various positions within the establishment
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee development
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve overall business objectives

-Ensure full compliance to Hotel operating controls, SOP’s, policies, procedures and service standards

-Handling complaints, and oversee the service recovery procedures

-Responsible for the preparation, presentation and subsequent achievement of the hotel's annual Operating Budget, Marketing & Sales Plan and Capital Budget

-Developing improvement actions, carry out costs savings.

-Closely monitor the hotels business reports on a daily basis and take decisions accordingly.

-Ensure that monthly financial outlooks for Rooms, Admin & General, on target and accurate

-Prepare monthly financial reporting

Experience:
- Proven experience in hospitality management or related field

- A strong understanding of P&L statements and the ability to react with impactful strategies
- Strong knowledge of food service management principles and practices
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Experience in inventory control and cost management
- Proficient in conducting interviews and selecting qualified candidates
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, employees, and vendors
