General Manager

We are looking for a hard-working landscape and lawn care Leader that wants to grow with our company and show up to work everyday with a purpose. We require our GM to be willing to get their hands dirty and work alongside their team. It will require the ability to work in the field as the location ramps up as well as manage the day to day operations.

Responsibilities:

• Work schedule 6:30a – 6p
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the company
• Responsible for hiring, evaluating and training employees
• Serve as a back-up to crew leader (if crew leader is out, you will lead their team until they return)
• Perform daily inspections of client’s property to ensure crew’s are providing superior quality
• Perform daily inspections of company equipment is operating properly
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company goals and objectives
• Manage and motivate a team of employees to achieve high levels of performance
• Ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and support
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and vendors
• Monitor financial performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure profitability
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Sell a minimum of $150,000 of commercial and residential projects annually
• Makes the initial contact with client and takes all required measurements
• Ensures that vendor pricing is competitive and accurate
• Prepares all bids over a set threshold
• Reviews all bids with Owner for accuracy and marketability
• Present all proposals to client
• Closes sale and coordinates job specifics with accounting personnel.
• Coordinates job specifics with production personnel
• Perform general maintenance on machine with detail records/logs (change oil, sharpen blades, filters, grease bearing, wash)

Requirements:

• Minimum High School Graduate
• Ability to Read and Write English (Bi-lingual a plus!)
• Must be able to work at least (2) Saturdays per month - if needed.
• Proven leadership of multiple landscaping crews
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Stable work history
• Provides excellent customer service
• Able to pass a background check and drug test, if needed
• Clean Driving Record
• Reliable Transportation, Valid Drivers License, Smartphone
• Lawn and Landscaping Experience (Commercial and Residential Mowing, Mulching, Irrigation, Cleanups)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $175.00 - $200.00 per day

• 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
