Job Summary:
The General Manager is responsible for the leadership and mentoring of the Customer Service, Massage Therapy, and Management teams. The role oversees seamless operations of the business unit while adhering to budget and financial goals. Must be detail-oriented and have ability to multi-task while managing high volume business. Ability to be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment with strong skills in day-to-day operations. Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent guest service skills. Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing
personality. Excellent communication, listening and computer skills. Must be a team leader and enjoy mentoring people.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to all clients and members through the answering of phone calls, setting appointments, greeting clients and membership sales and management.
- Oversee and manage daily operations of the boutique.
- Manage the boutique’s sales performance goals.
- Recruit, hire, and develop talented massage professionals. Experience hiring massage therapists a huge plus.
- Hire, train, monitor, and coach the performance of the guest service staff.
- Membership education and sales - including setting sales goals and incentives.
- Passionately promote products and services with effective, clear communications.
- Communicate with the service staff and maximize appointment bookings.
- Find opportunities for grassroots marketing and local community connections to build our brand awareness and positive reputation in the community.
- Administrative duties include performance reporting, payroll reports, inventory management, as well as development of marketing and social media campaigns.
