Under general supervision, the General Maintenance Worker safely performs a variety of tasks assisting in all aspects of maintenance operations, including, but not limited to:
- Perform tasks for the repair, maintenance, and upkeep of the facility including minor repairs, landscaping, carpentry, and some plumbing and minor electrical work
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and document completion using computer software, paperwork, tags, and other methods
- Assist in maintaining and documenting spare parts and maintenance tools inventory
- Assist technicians with general facility tasks, as required
- Actively participate in safety and operational meetings
- Maintain a clean and pristine work area at all times
- Perform other reasonably related tasks as requested by management
Required Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work some Saturdays
- Experience performing mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance
- Ability to wear an air purifying respirator
- Ability to work in an outdoor environment
