Responsibilities:
- Perform General Maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of facilities and equipment
- Conduct routine inspections and identify any maintenance or repair needs
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks accordingly
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders and document completed tasks
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns from staff and tenants
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed and materials used
- Supervise and coordinate external contractors for specialized repairs or projects
- Interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to guide maintenance activities
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance principles and practices
Plumbing skills
- Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
- Experience working with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment using logical problem-solving techniques
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
