.We are looking for an exceptional Accountant who can be a key member of our Corporate Consolidation team. In this position you will partner with the other team members to help accumulate financial information for reporting and management reporting decisions. You will be involved with all aspects of the financial close and have opportunity to recommend continuous improvement ideas.
What you will do:
- Perform as a key contributor to the monthly and quarterly closing process. Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and tie out consolidated data to underlying ERP systems. Key member of the team providing schedules during annual audits, quarterly reviews done by internal/external auditors and SOX testing/Compliance
- Support the Hyperion Financial Management (“HFM”) financial consolidation process by collecting, loading, and tying out other financial data (Debt repayments, commitments, deferred revenue roll etc.) used for external reporting.
- Prepare and submit all required government reports.
- Assist with various analytical and reporting needs.
- Assist with the collection and loading of fixed asset roll forward files to HFM.
What will you bring to the team, along with your curiosity is:
- Bachelor's degree required in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience and ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment.
- Critical thinking skills with the ability to research and analyze data drawn from multiple sources to find problems and make effective recommendations.
- Demonstrated experience/ knowledge of Hyperion Enterprise/HFM, Oracle/SAP and exceptional Microsoft excel skills.
