General Laborer/Warehouse

C.I. Security Services (CISS) in Glendale is looking for a competent and reliable part-time General Laborer to oversee and support our Logistics Manager to facilitate the supply chain operations of the company. You will be the one to coordinate logistics needs for varies weekend events to ensure we achieve the effective distribution of supplies as needed for all client events. You will be responsible for distribution of equipment and inventory while at event as well as developing logistical plans for delivery of food, water, equipment (crew t-shirts, jackets, flashlights, etc.). Finish setting up power, water bottles, ice, cooler, etc. on show days. He or she will be extremely well informed and prepared to assist in any given situation. The ideal candidate will have great record-keeping abilities and a customer-oriented approach. The goal is to ensure the smooth operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency.

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Keep check in/logistic areas clean, organized and fully stocked at all times
• Take initiative prior to events to ensure inventory and all needed supplies have been purchased and are in inventory.
• Work closely with Logistics Manager in organizing inventory, storage and transportation vehicles for all events.
• Rotate responsibilities as needed at upper management’s discretion
• Know who to contact on the radio in case of an emergency or nonemergency
• Contact upper management for assistance with difficult questions or requests
• Learn details of each event to provide needed logistics support
• Understand surroundings and all published festival/event information
• Maintain a professional, upbeat attitude and at all times
• Compile daily break sheets, equipment logs, check in sheets, etc.
• Conduct field audits to enforce company logistics standards for site specific events.

Job Types: Part-Time (weekends)

Salary: $18.00 per hour

Work Location: In-Person in Glendale Office & on the road as needed for event days.
