General Laborer/Warehouse

As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as General Laborers.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of tasks in the packaging production process, including but not limited to, loading and unloading materials, operating die cutting machines, assembling products, and conducting quality control checks.
• Utilize hand tools, such as cutting equipment, trimmers, and tape measures, to accurately complete tasks and ensure product quality.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Conduct thorough quality control inspections on products using micrometers, tape measures, and visual inspections to ensure they meet our rigorous standards.
• Maintain detailed records of quality control inspections and promptly report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors for resolution.
• Collaborate closely with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any quality-related issues that may arise during the production process.
• Contribute to the overall cleanliness and organization of the work area to enhance efficiency and safety.
• Flexibility to assist in various areas of production as needed to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Utilize basic math skills to accurately count and calculate quantities of packages during production processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred, with a strong emphasis on the use of hand tools, operating die cutting machines, and quality control procedures.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding measurements using micrometers and tape measures is required.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting.
• Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods of time, and perform repetitive tasks including bending, twisting, and lifting heavy objects repeatedly.
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
