Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of tasks in the packaging production process, including but not limited to, loading and unloading materials, operating die cutting machines, assembling products, and conducting quality control checks.
- Utilize hand tools, such as cutting equipment, trimmers, and tape measures, to accurately complete tasks and ensure product quality.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Conduct thorough quality control inspections on products using micrometers, tape measures, and visual inspections to ensure they meet our rigorous standards.
- Maintain detailed records of quality control inspections and promptly report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors for resolution.
- Collaborate closely with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any quality-related issues that may arise during the production process.
- Contribute to the overall cleanliness and organization of the work area to enhance efficiency and safety.
- Flexibility to assist in various areas of production as needed to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Utilize basic math skills to accurately count and calculate quantities of packages during production processes.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred, with a strong emphasis on the use of hand tools, operating die cutting machines, and quality control procedures.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding measurements using micrometers and tape measures is required.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting.
- Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods of time, and perform repetitive tasks including bending, twisting, and lifting heavy objects repeatedly.
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
